Game Review 2

Also in class I analyzed another game named Food Face which is under Picture Builder in Globalaria. The purpose of Food Face is to make faces out of food. From a developers point of view I think this would be a great game for small children who maybe need help being more creative. I think this game would look very appealing to children because they would have no trouble learning how to play it quickly. It is clearly stated how your suppose to perform this game. My only suggestions for improvment are more food options.For this game I would like to learn how they made the noises as well as how to scroll through the different types of food.

Game Review 1

Today in class I analyzed a game from Globalaria called Kute Little Aliens. The purpose of this game is to answer the questions presented to you and the result shows you the fate of the aliens because of your choices. From a learners point of view this is a game that I think is well put together. One feature I enjoyed in this game was how many different scenarios were presented for the aliens. From a developers point of view I would spend more time on the features of the aliens and their villages. I liked how this game is made considering how much time and the equipment that was used to create it. The game is very easy to play it explains exactly what your suppose to do and I dont believe any age group would have trouble playing this game. If I could change one thing in this game it would be at the part when you can go to the forest, the game freezes if you pick up the apples and thats what I would fix. I would like to learn how to make objects move, how to create backgrounds, and how to create boxes for text.

What I learned in class today.

Today in game design class I learned how to create a blog as well as how to update my blog. Also today my instructor infromed the class of the objectives we intend to accomplish, one of these objectives consists of us being put in to small groups to create a game. Overall I am excited about the new things I will discover about wikiing and blogging as well as how to create a game.
Lastly, I am looking forward to improving my communication skills by blogging and wikiing.
